2 Useless From Listeria Outbreak Linked to Dole Packaged Salads

Feb. 4. 2022 — A listeria outbreaklinked to Dole packaged salads has resulted in two deaths, the CDC says.

The deaths have been reported in Michigan and Wisconsin. As of Feb. 1, 17 folks had been contaminated in 13 states with 13 folks hospitalized, the company says. The sick persons are 50 to 94 years previous, and 82% are ladies.

The variety of sick folks might be larger as a result of some folks get better and aren’t examined for listeria, in line with the CDC.

The recalled merchandise have codes within the higher right-hand nook of the bundle starting with the letter B, N, W, or Y and have use-by dates between Nov. 30, 2021, and Jan. 9, 2022, the CDC says.
